Project design signifies a marriage of form and function.
Due to the fact that we specialize in the contract sector, we must pay high attention to the ergonomic and aesthetic aspect, and then incorporate them into products that are winners, especially in terms of costs.
Over the years at Top Line we have achieved a project know-how abandoning a range of many specific styles in favor of focusing on one contemporary style, which is at times humorous but always logical and pleasing. Whether dealing with stackable chairs, armchairs, stools or tables, every Top Line product is designed to last, not only aesthetically but also structurally, thanks to excellent standards of workmanship and a consistent selection of the best quality materials.

Werther Toffoloni was born in Udine in 1930 and studied in Venice.
He began to teach industrial design from the beginning of his career and has worked in various industries as a designer and art consultant.
With its Studio Tipi, he was a major player in the design for many of the Italian companies in the furniture industry.
The main feature of the entire project activity of Werther Toffoloni from the beginning was to look for the perfect combination of aesthetic research and design that takes into account the methods of production, use and the environment in which the products are destined. This was the only dominant from the beginning of his activity clearly under the influence of the theories of the Bauhaus and the pursuit of “gute form” strongly present in the first years of his professional training.

I started my work as a designer in the years ‘90s drawing mainly chairs for companies of the “Chair Triangle” and soon after I started designing food packaging. Some managers told me that I had a lot of talent in designing PET bottles for mineral water. Between the years 1995 and 1998 I received many prizes and awards in this area, I obtained success all over Europe. I had received the awards not only for the charming appearance of the packaging design but also for the particular and innovative technical performances. At the beginning of the new century I restarted to designing chairs, armchairs and stools and also furnishings. The goal is to draw the perfect balance between the formal aspect and the right mix of technological innovation.
